I dont know man, 7.5 pounds is pretty light for a notebook. The thing is, if you want to sacrifice screen size and all that you can get a G3 (Or those tablet Notebook's). Those are tiny, but are expensive.

The Toshiba's are built very solid, and the battery life on them is probably the best. A more affordable solution of course would be a Dell or even an HP/Compaq and they make a pretty sweet rig.

ya a touch but its a 15" screen and by the time you add your power supply and other "misc shit" to your bag you wouldn't notice if your laptop was 7.5 lbs or 5.5lbs.
