I'll let you know if I see some major differences. So far I can see a few, but this needs to be tested much more to be considered more reliable information.

Will bite my tounge for now.

I'll let you know how its working after a couple more months. It is something we implemented a while back. Less can be more sometimes, when it comes to enticing the surfer to buy, and long as you give them more than expected on the back-end.

The one and only AMP of course. He normally signs the pages at the bottom, I will have to check if he did... "BULT BY AMP"

The eccentric and always controversial Amp does all of our design work. If you are unaware as to Amp's background you can do a search for Amputate Your Head... he is one of the most flamboyant and brilliant designers i've ever worked with and it's been one hell of a ride so far.

To all those concerned with the change it's been a really nice transition that has been extremely smooth.

It was real pleasure working with them from techical point of view. Their tech Matt is extremely good and Chris & Alex were fantastic.
Any company can easily cooperate with these guys - they simply rock.

Interesting. This is the first time I hear of a big affiliate program switching from NATS to MPA3. Personally, I prefer NATS over MPA3, mainly because MPA3 has a built in shaving feature, which can serve absolutely no good purpose for affiliates.

Good luck with the new software though, I hope it continues to show overall improvement for you guys

Sorry, I have to correct you. MPA3 does not have a built in shave feature and i've been over it with a fine tooth comb. You are confusing it with an earlier version of MPA. The shave feature was totally removed. And, just for the record. Any software can be modified regardless of whether it's NATS, MPA or whatever and if you don't believe that all you have to do is dissect the code and scrutinize the day to day operations of various software and at what point it breaks down and becomes a less viable solution for businesses.

You also have to remember that shaving comes in all forms. It can be done without the program's consent or knowledge. For instance a program could be "tied" into a 3rd party biller only to discover that the revenue earned by affiliates isn't properly being dispersed. Sometimes it isn't dishonesty that causes shaving it's an incompetence factor on the programmer's/developers end. It's the operators of the software and the program's trustworthiness that dictates the implementation and use of a shave feature. Many programs using MPA2 never used the shave feature and some even had it totally removed. So, to blacklist a company for features in a software from the past is rediculous.

However, I can understand your concerns but you can rest assured that our books are totally open to the public for scrutiny at any time because we have filed with the SEC to become a publicly traded company and that requires us to give access to our accounting and reconciliations. We also invite anyone that would like to see our admin or program in person to contact us for directions to our office. Unfortunately we can't give access remotely because of security issues but we will gladly host any of you as our guest to review our entire program.

Have to love comments by the clueless.

To save retyping crap my own view on it from an ICQ conversation I was having....

***: But will people trust mpaX ?
tipsy: thats the problem but to an extent more fool them
tipsy: MPA learnt a very hard lesson and are highly unlikely to repeat the mistake so I'd trust them more than most at the moment
***: Oh yes
***: And people have a short attention span/memory
tipsy: true - then you gotta take into account it's all about bottom line/sales and if that increases, cant see how the system they use matters
tipsy: Of course there are many not bright enough to see that. Their loss and for the most part they'll not send many /any sales anyway so more for the rest of us

Now may just have to get my ass into gear and retry J&A again.

We will not be commenting in these threads. If anyone wants to speak with us regarding it they can reach us via phone or icq. Jason and Alex were asked to move away from NATS several times over the past 2 months. We thank them for finally doing so and we wish them luck.

You asked us to move? That is news to us. My recolection is different as to why we moved. I'm willing to air it all out here, you will most likely stay just on the phone with others, where you can "control" the conversation.

Regardless Albright, look at the bright side, we don't have to complain about everything we hated about your software, and you don't have to make somewhat futile attempts at trying to fix it anymore. So it is a win-win situation.

If you don't want to "bicker" with us here on the boards, than stay off the thread.

People should know you are in the wrong for one simple reason:

NEVER, IN THE HISTORY OF NATS, HAVE YOU STAYED AWAY FROM A NEGATIVE NATS THREAD, SINCE YOU GUYS WERE OPERATIONAL. FUNNY HOW THIS TIME YOU JUST WAITING AND WATCHED.

Why come here and spread a brutal lie that you ASKED us to move away from nats? That is bullshit and you know it. I can back up everything I have said here with proof, and I do hope you are intelligent enough to know that.

I wonder if you will call Alex and I again this morning and threaten us to "play hush hush".

There is not an agenda to bring your company to its knees, but backing me into a corner by spreading false allegations, will surely do you no good in the end. It is bad business. You should know better.

You're a class act Chris. You really are. We never once asked you to play "hush hush" We asked that you stopped with the lies and BS you are spreading which will eventually come out. And I'm not talkign about things that your thread is talking about. I'm talking about things much more above and beyond that.

We told you several times you should move to another software if you're not happy and we would do whatever we can to help you move to another solution. Somehow now you don't remember that.

I'm not continuing this thread with you. Spin it as you wish. Lie and bullshit as you wish. You're pretty good at it.

To prove that I am not lying:

Calling my attorney now to see what I "can" and "can't" post here.

1. j&a is fucking great
2. mpa3 is not as bad as some might think
3. go either mpa3 or nats

seems like a big win-win marketing thread here. hot air, nothing more. some companies which want to make themselves very important. congrats, you got attention!

You know...Not everything that is posted on GFY is done so to gain attention. The J&A program has been around for awhile and is not in the habit of fueling publicity threads for self gain.

The J&A program has been around for awhile and is not in the habit of fueling publicity threads for self gain.
Yes, sure.

I've worked with Jason and Alex - they're honest, straightforward guys; it's plainly obvious this thread wasn't started with drama in mind - just a simple announcement.

I don't know shit about the situation, but I do know about J&A - I know they're tough, demanding guys who expect things to be done right. Perhaps NATS couldn't fulfill their expectations. Who knows, maybe MPA3 can't fulfill it either.

But if something doesn't work right, who's fault is it? If your product doesn't fulfill your customers needs, do you try and "fix" it (assuming they have a legitimate gripe) or do you "ask" (ha ha) them to stop using your software? That just doesn't make any sense.

To be fair, I've looked into the NATS software and seems very nice, though I haven't put it through any kind of real-world tests.

My two cents.

You are correct. You try to make the customer happy which we tried time and time again. Unforunately it wasn't happening so we said that maybe they would be more happy with another product and that we would do all we could to help them make a smooth transition. You can't please everyone. Hopefully they will be happy where they are now.

It's ampiezza.com but it's just a front page... he doesn't have a portfolio up that i'm aware of if that's what you're looking for.
