By the way, Fox News is not so much conservative as it is a MONEY MAKING enterprise. That's how Rupert Murdoch runs his ship--it's not about ideology, it's about making MAD BLING. He sideswiped mainstream media because he added DRAMA, MORAL OUTRAGE, and a GOOD v. BAD narrative to his news division...transforming it into ENTERTAINMENT. The fact that it skews to the right is because such moral appeals tend to be more popular than the left's appeals to so-called 'intellectual objectivity' (which is laughable as well, but on different grounds). If there was big money to be made skewing left, Im sure Fox would have done it a while back.

That's what the mainstream media doesn't get. That's why they get killed in the ratings.

It's all about zeroing in on the hot buttons of a large population, adding drama, and entertaining them. Politics aside, it's all about making money and that's what Murdoch does best. He made his initial $$$ from tabloids, think about it.

It's not that Sam Kimery objects to the views expressed on Fox News Channel. The creator of the "Fox Blocker" contends the network is not news at all.

Kimery says he has sold about 100 of the little silver bits of metal that screw into the back of most televisions, allowing people to filter Fox News from their sets. The Tulsa, Okla., resident also has received thousands of e-mails, both angry and complimentary, as well as a few death threats since the device debuted in August.
