I used to work at HP as a QA Engineer but I just couldn't take it anymore. Wasting 8+ hours a day getting nothing done at work so I figured I was doing well enough with my paysite that I didn't really need my day job anymore, so fuggit. I took the plunge and quit a couple weeks ago and it's been great. I slacked off for the first few days just to get it out of my system, but now I've been getting a lot of real work done on my sites and I'm loving every minute of it. Ok, I'm not sure where I was going with this...
I finally quit my day job...

It's going to be hard -- I wake up right when the sun is coming down. :POriginally posted by cambabyCongratulations to you, I have not worked for the man since 1999 and love every minute of it. Just make sure to get out into the sun every once in awhile.Cary | AIM: cheesefrog | ICQ: 4287002Comment

The decision to stop working for the man was the best I ever made, I slack too but no more office politics b.s., no more silly "industry words", no more screwing around with the receptionist who then calls the cops ... ok, nm that last part
Congrats, you won't regret the decision.
... now sign up for some cam programs (see sig)
