Porn visit law !!!

Just wondering why they don't start a ".sex or .porn" to avoid all childrens to go on xxx sites , I think it could be easier for everybody . So programs just had to block those .sex or .porn for parent who needs it... No more fucking problems with law and all that morality shit !

Never going to happen, if parents and the congress critters were really spooked about online porn, they would recommend the proper filters for their computers and all of us that post a warning page and that ICRA rate their sites will not pop up on their radar screen.

Simple as that!

we get it, it appears you dont. there are "programs" that parents can use now that get the job done but they chose not to. all .xxx or .porn will bring is blanket bans via ISP.

Not so fast. The man is entitled to a reasonable reply. I don't know him, but he seems to be on the side of the adult industry.

What would be so wrong with such a system?

Most of us would agree that we are not deliberately trying to make our content available to minors, so why not make it easier to keep them away from it (which it seems is the adult industry critic's biggest argument against the biz), while also setting a clear standard for what the adult biz can post in the .sex/.xxx arena?

That might create a more level playing field as well. I voluntarily provide links to sites that block adult sites (Surfwatch, etc), and I do not show any hardcore on my Guest Tour even though it is featured in my Members area.

By doing so, while many of my competitors show hardcore on their splash page, I'm sure that I'm leaving money on the table.

If this industry doesn't self-regulate, then the day may come when the government starts prosecutions in earnest and shuts sites down.

Let's hear some intelligent arguments against this idea if you have one. My mind is still not made up. Enlighten me...

If it was something that was adopted in the very beginning it could have had a chance of success although could you imagine if some ISP had hardcore religious investors or were located in the bible belt? Picture it. .sex .porn .xxx TLDs all blocked.

the .xxx idea has been thrown around a lot as of late but it will never happen.
