Well, here's how I see it. I've seen this happen multiple times before.
Sleazy will end up buying you dinner and a drink. It will be an uncomfortable meeting, but it will happen. The drama and rage will get squashed but still live on inside.

This way Sleazy can come out ontop as the "bigger" man. The trolls on the webmaster boards will applaud sleazy for his great gesture and then reffer to him as a "class act."
