    Vegas Video Helppp

    i am trying to record video from my mini dv tape and everything works cool up until i hit " Capture tape " then it says it is getting the video
    my cam is playing the video
    but when it is done nothing was recorded

              Encode to your hard drive using windows movie maker. Then open your video with Vegas.

                  Have you hit the "reconnect to current device" to make sure you REALLY ARE connected? If you are..no reason why you shouldn't be getting it recorded. You don't get sound OR video?
