Fucking Password Sites!!!!!!!

I found only a couple sites that are doing it. Fuckers got one of my sites there with a couple passwords. I am getting tired of this shit! Anyone know what i can do about this shit?

Here is a couple of the sites giving passwords out:

Theres a hell of a lot more password forums than those, and they're not going away anytime soon.

Look into getting Pennywize, ProxyPass, KillerSecurity, etc.

Do you realize that those top listings, IE: 8thstreet, etc are probably paid listings, IE: fake usernames/passwords to get people to join...

How fucking hard can it possibly be do deal with this? It's been around since the first day a paysite went live... how hard is it to detect changing IPs and prompt the user to re-enter his first name or something? pathetic

I tried fighting adult password sites. They are a pain in the ass. They can move servers fast like hell and without downtime. You could make it a full time job with poor results. Just use a good protection script.

no worries. I fixed the problem, they wont get back in. i put a good protection script like Fabuleux said

You got to be kidding!

One of the first things I managed is use the password trading traffic to generate better traffic. This can be forwarded to top lists, cycled to a tour etc.

Just use something like iprotect and get full control over this traffic. The problem is that my sites don't get listed anylonger as they find out who is just using their traffic and simply don't list your sites anylonger.

So don't fight them, use them!

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Password Cop from CECash is a great tool to thwart Password sites.

Many sites with members areas run Password Cop. They know the value of this stable tool.

Password Cop (Passwordcop.com) will disable a runaway password and automatically detect if user/pass is from paying client. If user/pass is indeed from an account in good standing, Password Cop issues that client and new password. This way, you dont lose good standing accounts and you dont get zapped in bandwidth fees or devalue your site by giving it away to Password Hackers.

Make sure you get a prog or script that recognizes multiple IP's for the same login, and after 2-3 lock them out, change their password, and be done with it.

When someone tried this shit, I get an instant e-mail as soon as a 2nd IP pops up for same username, and server or prog automatically changes password. If it happens again, they are locked out, and have to contact customer support. If they try and do a chargeback (yes, it happens), they are banned from all sites via IP.

Not too hard to protect yourself. Always better to have in place, then have someone get in and d/l your entire site or whatever.

No need to use 3rd party softwares, apache allows many many security options. During audits I also saw so many websites with poor login / password.
