California Webmasters: In N Out Burgers vs Tommy's Original Burgers

In n out vs the Original Tommy's (chili) burgers (the one with the shack in the logo): which do you prefer?

I posted this because I am fiending for both. Neither are available here in the Philippines.

Where's Tommy's? Never heard of it.

Everyone loves In-N-Out though. I've honestly only had them about 5 times over 4 years.

Tommy's Chilli Burger and Chilli Chees Fries!!!

There is nothing better at 2:30 AM after a night of drinking. Jack In The Box tacos are close.

Either way I would say Tommy's for me. Love those things!

Oh man, how can I forget the Chili Cheese Fries. It's a meal unto itself. They kick ass as is or with onions sprinkled on top.

Plus those small yellow chilis are great for adding a little spicy ZING to any Tommy's meal!

That funky brew smell actually smells like a very popular Filipino dish--SINIGANG. Tamarind base soup with meat or shrimp/fish. Good stuff! A similar Thai dish is Tom Yum Goom (sp?)

What to order at Tommy's? I have been driving past one for years and years but never tried it. I don't see a lot of people going there either, it doesn't appear to be very popular. There is an In N Out right next to it too, and it's always PACKED to where the cars spill onto the streets and cause accidents. I LOVE In N Out. I am not too fond of chilli burgers tho, are tommy's cheeseburgers any good? Damn i am so hungry right now, but it's 2 am, too late and dangerous to be driving out all by myself to go get a burger

You want a good chili burger in So Cal.. ???

Tommys is good.. but not even close...

You want to Try Clearmans Galley aka "The Boat" ...

at Rosemead/Huntington in San Gabriel (210 frwy.. south on rosemead 2 miles)
Massive Chili Burgers with a special mixture of chili and 1000 lsland spread...
world famous purple cabbage salad (I prefer the lettuce/bluecheese salad) and Cheesebread...

Big Beers to wash em down too !!!

Let me know when you are headin' there... (I live within walking distance)
I will either meet you there.. or call ahead and buy you a beer!!!

**********

In N Out is great for an "on road burger"
they have a "secret" menu that many do not even know about...
next time you are there.. ask if they have the "secret menu" and can you have one...
you will trip..

They got protein burger.. which is hamburger wrapped in lettuce for the Atkins fans..

They got a burger with 26 patties or some shit.. its like bun, and the whole take out box filled with patties... and of course.. GRILLED ONIONS.... talk about overkill...

My favorite...
Double Double... Well Done... Grilled Onions.. Light spread... add pickles...
