Normally I'm not a big fan of the word GOOK due to its historical use as a term of derision for Asian-Americans and Filipinos in particular (it originated from the term used for Filipino insurgents during the Philippine American War of 1899-1901 see http://kpearson.faculty.tcnj.edu/Dictionary/gook.htm ). I am Filipino-American myself. But I also have a sense of humor and try not to take things too seriously. I know JFPDude a bit and he's a decent guy. So... it's all good. Outsourcing is here to stay, its just a question of how US/EU/AU/CAN clients can employ it to maximize advantages for all sides. If done well, outsourcing / outsourced manufacturing can benefit all sides.

interesting link, I thought it had it's roots in the Korean language as the ending of their term for different nationalities end in the 'gook' sound...ie; HanGook (korean), MeeGook (American), ChinGook(Chinese)...
