In Asia thats how they teach, if you have never really been hit .How do you know what to do when it happens. My teachers in NYC told us all about how different it is over there. To get beat with a stick in class is no big deal over there ,they feel it toughens you up .

well this is pretty much what has happened over the last 10-15 years. First off, that's not Kung Fu.

The kicks are not chambered that way. Those are cup kicks, that the students are doing. The teacher kicked a student half way in, that's a classic teep kick in Muay Thai.

You only need two fighting styels. Muay Thai for stand up and BJJ for ground.

Very, very true. Brazilian jujitsu is fucking awesome, one of my best friends is one of those crazy UFC style fighters and that's what he does. He's about 5'7" and could take down any huge guy I've ever met.
