Friend Finder Down?????

Is Friendfinder.com down???

Can somebody tell me what is going on with friendfinder.com? For about a month now I have been unable to reach the site. I e-mailed the site and they seem to have no clue that the site might be having trouble.

Adultfriendfinder.com has been up but friendfinder.com continues to not be accessible.

I did some trace routes and here are a few of the results (looks like trouble???):

This is very, very strange!

The tests and disgnostics to which I have access from home reveal no trouble.

Please contact me tomorrow to look deeper.

I agree that dial up sucks . . . but I'm not sure that this opinion has any impact on the trace from Princeton, USC and Stanford to friendfinder.com.

Can?t anybody interpret these? It looks like a problem but I?m not sure how to read these. I know there are some ?techno-whiz-kids? that can tell exactly what is (and has been) going on with the friend finder site.

Thank you!

Using a firewall you can block traceroutes. They obviously have chosen to do so.

Some trace sites actually said that perhaps friend finder is blocking the traces or pings.

BUT, the fact remains that when I type friendfinder.com in my browser . . . the site never comes up and it has been this way for a month (or so) after many, many successful months of being able to access it.

Also, I have had many, many months as an affiliate. Now, not only can I not get there, but my affiliate traffic stopped too. I was sending pure type-in traffic that my host continues to see but friendfinder.com doesn't.

Isn't this very ODD!

What do you think might be going on?

Thanks! I guess that would explain but I haven't changed anything at all when this problem started. The problem looks like it is mine because others are able to reach friend finder without problems, but the fact that my host still sees the traffic would lead me to believe that maybe friend finder is the one with routing issues . . . but clearly I know nothing.

I can also easily log into an adult friend finder affiliate account and see stats and all, but when I click the link (provided) to the friend finder stats . . . the page never comes up. This was something I was able to do successfully for a long time and over the last month (or so) friend finder and my affiliate stats are not accessible for me (and apparently my traffic from my domain name).

When I e-mailed friend finder, they told me to provide more information for them. I don't know what more I can provide (other than my recent problematic experiences).
