I remember the good ol days of GFY.....

...You know...Back when people knew how to piss with each other and it was a challenge.

Now the only people worth pissing with are those who have earned my respect...for the most part....

These new idiots are easy to spot and start shit with but they have no backbone, no logical defense plan, and are simply no challenge whatsoever.

I see a few "diamonds in the rough" but overall......Most of you have zero future in this industry.

It's a damn shame.

gfy isn't the same without the true gfy oldschool actively posting: amp, thefly, choker flamewars, boneprone, teengodfather, gary, just some names out of my ass. everyone registered in 2001.

I think the peak was at [labret]'s banning, as a prophetical thing he was banned beacause of pointing out the obvious, then what he ponted out went uphill exponentially, ironic and funny/sad at the same time, then the board went downhill.

the worst 'era' of gfy was when stocktrader23,lil2rich4u2 or something started 5 threads a minute about a year+ or so ago.

right now it seems there's a balance between incredibly stupid bullshit/smart surfers and real business going on, can't decide.

Either way GFY is and will be the biggest and the best/most entertaining board there is if you can read between the lines.

LOL, its only been 4 years since 2001. This board has not lost all its so called "old schoolers" unless they have sold out and got out of the biz and it def wasnt replaced with shitty webmasters. BTW, i was just wondering what makes GFY so much better in 2001 then now? Cant u get more biz done now because of all the different webmasters that own all sorts of sites from mainstream to porn? Im just wondering what the basis of GFY went to shit since 2001 came from? Im interested in hearing the reasons. Ya i agree there are so many fucking surfers on GFY these days and its hard to get quality biz done, but I think thats because of word of mouth. Since it is so easy to just register, you get all these diff type of menaces. It would be great if lensman could have some sort of way to weed out surfers. But then again, if people want to learn things like SEO, submitting galleries, owning paysites and what it consists of, then its their right to. I just beleive this industry as a whole, goes way beyond paysites and tgps. You do not have to own paysites or tgps to be successful. JMIO BTW.
