    Yo How do I pull Movies from a MiniDv onto my PC?

    I got a new camcomcorder , how do I do this shit?

              You plug it into your firewire card

              i bought a firewire card
              a camera
              dv tapes
              tested it out
              tired to put my firewire card in

              i dont have a slot for it

              I wasted like 600 :/

                          Ahh ok cool. Yeah I got Firwire on my laptop , not on main PC. Ill hook it up to laptop , shit I think i need to get a firewire cable

                              nope most dv camera's that you buy at a regular store ( Ie wal mart ... fred myers ... cost co ) dont sell USB camera's
                              i looked all over
                              didnt want to mess with the inside of my pc

                              I dunno what kind of slot i have in my pc

                                      All PC's have PCI slots....usually one AGP slot for video card and a bunch of PCI slots....
