Google questions

Ok these are lame but I feel the need to know.
Why is the google logo half full of water and dripping into a bowl.
How long have they been pushing the toolbar at the bottom of the web searches?
Oh yeah almost forgot, why I am I seeing image searches at the top?

Yeha, it is world water day. I find the logo cute though and I find it cool everytime they do artistic manipulations with their logo.
