It's been a very long week....
Last week my GF started having some pains in her stomach. Normally, pains in the stomach is something I can let her deal with but since she's pregnant, I took more interest in it.
Wednesday I told her to stay home... she refused. Went to the office and was yelled at by her co-workers and told to go home by her boss. Before she got home, I already had a doctor's appointment for her. Anyway, we ended up spending Thursday, Friday and some of Monday in and out of the doctor's office and the hospital. As it turns out, the baby is doing great.. mommy is experiencing major muscle spasms and tightening... spasms and stuff is normal, but she's getting it really bad. There's nothing anyone can do... she just has to ride it out. She's been off work ever since and probably will be until after Easter. Anyway, the reason for my post... for anyone who's had problems with the muscles in their stomach, they know that it can be very painful to do anything at that point... standing up, sitting down, walking... anything. So I've been spending a lot of time with her, helping her out. This means missing lots of work time and board time and everything else. So for anyone who's been looking for me, or needs anything from me or what have you.... sorry if I've been short on ICQ, not on ICQ or just been slow at getting to things. I will get back to you when I am able. |
