Webmasters from the UK, please click here.

Does any of you know how much a P.O Box would cost me in the UK? Or where I would be able to find more information about getting one?

I need a postal address in the UK soon. Thanks.

www.royalmail.com

You may find that you need a UK address though. Cost is around £50 a year for a basic box and double that if you need forwarding.

Just to add that if you're not resident in the UK then you may want to do a google search for mailboxes instead and use a 3rd party. They usually work out a lot more expensive but are also usually far more flexible.

I'm moving to the UK soon, so that won't be a problem. Thanks for the link, I appreciate your time and efforts.

Royal mail, walk into the main post office in your local town and set one up for around £60 per year

If I remember (rules may have changed) but you have to get a po box (royal mail)that is close to your home (i.e. within a few miles from your address). Anyone who wants to can request your home address from your po box address.

There are lots of firms supplying po box addresses.

Some firms will not send products to a po box address.

Pricewise you're looking at £10/mo 3rd party, or £50-70/year royal mail for your bog standard box.

Thanks for the extra info. I think I'll go with Royalmail at 53 quid a year.
