These are some of my thoughts on 20th March 2005

I am writing this as I think mobile porn will become an important factor, and webmasters should not ignore this fact.

Its a bit like the internet, in truth the early years it was ignored. Those who got in early bought the best site names and had the advantage of being the first to have sites. Many of these are now big sites, or at least very well known.

3G has been out a while. Its not provided all it promised. Now most networks in the UK provide 3g. Unlike Japan, we have limited internet access, but this will change. Otherwise people will not but these phones.

Once 3G has full internet access, the chances are they will be able to download slandered WebPages and I suspect download vid slandered vid clips.

But at the moment from what I am reading, its still unknown what these 3g phones will be able to do. That is if 3g technology will be wanted.

Mobile machines such as palm and windows pda's are going to have much more access to the web. This is due to both Bluetooth and wifi. Wifi because more and more homes and work places are going wifi. As such wifi will enable pda's to connect with the web with ease. Trains and other public places too will be getting wifi. As such people could be in the position to spend many hours surfing the web.

Phones are now also including media cards built into them. This gives he opportunity to sell porn onto media cards.

3G phones could also start a new wave of web cam sites. Rather than just using webcams plugged into your pc, soon people will be able to webcam anyplace world wide. Thus creating a possibility to 'fetish' cams. By this I mean, sites dedicated to people chatting via 3g phones in locations, such as on a beach, in shops, in parks.

Modern phones now not only can take photographs (which are normally poor quality), but now video clips, which although may be low quality, and be ideal for websites. As such there is now possibilities for far more web clips being put onto sites.

The next stage of net porn could be direct to your TV via a box. We have seen firms now moving towards this, and even doing it, such as xtv.com. This gives people DVD quality porn direct to your TV. This I suspect is going to be big. Both for porn and non porn TV.

With 3g phones the plan is to send them TV direct. It will be interesting to see if its possibly to broadcast porn to them as well, as in live TV. One problem I see is that most mobile devises have different screen sizes, and I could see this being a problem for transition, knowing what size to broadcast files at.

Anyway, just a few thoughts.
