Besides GFY, where can I find trades?

I am still new at this.
Do you guys suggest visiting other sites in my category and signing up at them for trades?

Or should I mostly rely on people coming to me for the majority of trades.

Hmm, the only other board I know that has a resonable number of trade requests is http://www.tgpowners.com

There is an other board that has trade requests sorted by categories, but I forgot the URL, sorry.

You may check the websites of some traffic trading scripts, too, as far as I remember CJUltra, UCJ and some others have support boards with a special trade request section.

Another good way is checking the trades of the sites you trade with. If you know the webmaster of a site has a good reputation, you can be quite sure that his trades won't cheat you.
