Yup poor wrist blood flow circulation. I egt the same thing regardless of pc working or not. Some people it's genetic others your probably as said above cutting the circulation/blood flow. Do the hand open/close repeate system see if that works.

Same thing happens to me. But it hasn't happened the last 2 days. The only difference is that I've been having my laptop in my lap the whole time = different angle on my arms. Now they're tilting a little more forward, before they were a little higher. Only thing I can think of.

Look up a disease called Reynauds. This could possibly be the cause, as my girlfriend was recently diagnosed with reynauds. reynauds in and of itself is generally harmless, but 20% of those who have it usually end up with a more serious disorder such as lupus. If your fingers / toes (extremities) get cold and/or change to a purplish color (like your fingernails) at the slighest drop in temperature, then you most likely have reynauds. if this doesn't fit your description, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah it's poor circulation to your hands and/or carpal tunnel. I get the same thing... but I also have my keyboard and mouse at the worst height for typing. It's my own fault lol

Charlton Heston's hands turn cold whenever someone pulls a musket out of them. But then again he has Alzheimer's and is senile.

How does a patient with carpal tunnel syndrome feel?
Patients with carpal tunnel syndrome initially feel numbness and tingling of the hand in the distribution of the median nerve (the thumb, index, middle, and part of the fourth fingers). These sensations are often more pronounced at night and can awaken patients from sleep. The reason symptoms are worse at night may be related to the flexed-wrist sleeping position and/or fluid accumulating around the wrist and hand while lying flat. Carpal tunnel syndrome may be a temporary condition that completely resolves or it can persist and progress. As the disease progresses, patients can develop a burning sensation, cramping and weakness of the hand. Decreased grip strength can lead to frequent dropping of objects from the hand. Occasionally, sharp shooting pains can be felt in the forearm. Chronic carpal tunnel syndrome can also lead to wasting (atrophy) of the hand muscles, particularly those near the base of the thumb in the palm of the hand. |
