I have Nextel as my main phone $149 unlimited nationwide calling - put about 3900 minutes on it last month!

The Blackberry is great for emails, as a contact/schedule manager, and as a backup phone - really an invaluable tool for someone on the go.

Interesting how we live without these things our whole lives and then all of a sudden they become indespensible!

I haven't tried the IM yet on the BB, how is it Quiet? I only saw support for AIM and I don't use AIM really. I love the email on this thing, I'm already getting a custom app to get my stats on demand

btw, this 1 meg bandwidth package with Rogers is definitely not going to be close. Even their unlimited package at 25 meg (that's unlimited?!) is going to hurt

You can get the unlimmited package with rogers (which is basicly anything under 100megs) for 100 bucks a month.

The unlimited with Rogers (voice + data packages) is $90/mn but if you read the fine print, their idea of unlimited is 25 meg/month

I can blow that really quickly
