they are very reliable i think, but since there are a reseller of enom, if they go out of business one day, you could lose all your names with them theoretically, someone please correct me if i am wrong

Namecheap are superb - my top registrar. I dont see how people can even compare them with Godaddy. Godaddy spams tons of advertising shit in the CP and in email - with namecheap its just clean service and functionality. Plus Namecheap allow proper paypal funds wheread Godaddy require CC.

Polisharistocrat, i think youre very misinformed. The domains would end up with enom if Namecheap went out of business. Same applies to all the resellers. Thats why the namecheap domains all have enom in the whois.

Unrivaled support, excellent cp, excellent features, top service.

Hard to fault NameCheap. Ive tried every registrar there is and Namecheap is top. Even though its an enom reseller, I actually prefer Namecheap to enom because the CP is so much more user friendly and the support is better.

Enom have changed their rules latley and will suspend your domain (read delete, as they wont give it back) if you are REPORTED for spamming.

As NameCheap are an Enom reseller you are tied to these new terms as well.

I was reported for spamming, ironcly on a domain I dont spam with, and had the domain withdrawn. Enom also hold the right to term ALL domains you have, not just the one reported. This thankfully didnt happen to me.

The BIG boss at NameCheap did come on here and offer to look at it for me after all hell broke loose when I posted about this. I didnt take him up on the offer, it wasnt a busy domain and lots of other stuff was happening at the time.

Im still using NameCheap as the setup is amazing... but I am keeping a VERY close eye on what is going on......
