Serious question about female nipple-behaviour (ladies please read and answer)

Under what circumstances do your nipples get hard?

For example. im aware of the fact that if you are cold they get hard and some other external influences cause that state of nipple.

But now the tricky part:

Example A.
This studly looking juicy type guy gets intimate with you in a romantic setting and gently sucks your nipple.. your nipple gets hard!

Example B.
you fall asleep on the beach on a sunny day while being topless.. you wake up and this nasty old bum is sucking your nipple: does your nipple still get hard?

As in: is this a simple uncontrollable reflex or is there more to it when temperature is not an issue?

yeah mine are like that too, they totally have a mind of thier own. They get hard at the oddest times, usually when I don't want them to be hard they get hard. My areolas are weird too, they shrink and grow, sometimes they are small like the size of a quarter other times they spread out and look really big.

I'll have to agree with Mandy that it's not so easy. My nipples will very rarely pop - breeze outside won't do it - if nude and there is a draft may but not always, someone sucking it or gently brushing it yes. When I was pregnant and then when I was breastfeeding, the nipples stayed hard from the moment I got pregnant until about 2 months after I stopped breastfeeding. As a matter of fact, one of the ways I knew I was pregnant was because they were popping and mine rarely do.

Some ppl's nipples are hard all the time, and some people have a hard time getting their nips to stand out. Mine are almost always out, so I wear padded bras as to disguise them. I don't think it is a result of being horny, or being arroused, just a reaction maybe to bra material or any touch?
