I've seen the buy.com offer (the 277 $ 19" flat screen) . Does anybody know where I can order cheap flat screens here in canada ?

Be careful when buying flat panels too cheap. A lot of the big panel producing companies are trying desperately to get rid of their old (crappy) panels.

Spend 100-150$ more and get something you will be happy with for years.

Wait 2 years before buying any large, expensive flat panels, that's for sure. They're building a bunch of new factories in China exclusively for LCD's and Plasma's, prices are going to drop like crazy in the near future. This is not necessarily advice for you, since you're looking for a smaller one, but anyone considering dropping $5k+ on a good one should wait. You'll kick yourself in 2 years when it's $999.
