One of the local Bison ranches here is closing down and slaughtering their whole herd. I can get the stuff cheap ($4-6/lb). I'm gonna load up my freezer, so if anyone wants me to fedex some out at my cost, let me know here or on ICQ. It's yummy and quite the Wyoming delicacy. Also rocky mountain oysters, if'n your into such a thing...great for holiday parties.

There used to be a guy down in Fort Washakie that raised beefalo which was a cross breed of buffalo and cow...made for some damn good burgers.

I actually did have some at the Bellagio a couple months ago, but other that, it's been years...

I really need to get back to Wyoming...I miss the white Christmas, hunting and the open air (although the damn California yuppy fucks have moved in a bit and ruined shit...drove up land prices and introduced their bullshit) When I was back in Lander a couple years ago for my high school reunion, it was strange seeing a cappacino place in Wyoming...heheh

Sykkboy, I haven't been over on the other side of the hill in a while, but I assure you, the yuppie shit has gotten far worse over here in Sheridan. We are now Jackson Lite. A 3 bedroom house is starting in the $100k range, we're up to 3 golf courses and 4 cappuchino places. And we still only have 20,00 people in town. The guy who owns American Standard plumbing bought a ranch here, as did the guy (McTiernan?) who produced the Die Hard movies. I ran into Chris LeDoux and Garth Brooks in my favorite shady mexican resteraunt the other day, and as I was wearing my GFY shirt, they ran in fear. This is no longer the Wyoming we used to know and love. This is California, but colder...
