I've never heard of anything like that.

Hell, my CPA never asks for 1099's....just bank statements and receipts/invoices

Mine charged me 600 bucks last year that's because everything was such a mess. This year things are cleaned up and I'm not expecting to pay that much. We'll see. But I've never heard of being charged per 1099.
