Will a book be written about online adult and all the major players in it?

Do you think somebody (someday soon?) somebody is going to write a book about the history of online adult and names like Marc De, Lensman, and Brad Shaw will be in print for mainstream consumption?

Do you think people would be at all interested in a book like this?

There's been enough scandalous things here that you could make the book interesting, sex, drugs, prison time, etc.

I heard BradShaw is working on a book, not sure if that isn't a joke though.

Ha damn?I've been wondering the same thing for a long time now. I write in my spare time, and have often considered it...there are a ton of sex oriented shows out there and documentaries showing different facets of the industry. Hell I could think of a dozen crazy experiences and interesting personalities I?ve encountered right now!

ha, I have never thought of the whole history angle. I think it could be a good book, unfortunately reality books seem to always follow the majorities original belief so as for adult to be given any slack so that the general pop could recieve us as normal good people, probably not. No reality in this Reality book most likely.

I was contacted w/ questions from an author who was doing a book about a month ago. He had tons of questions, answered some, referred most to other people, but I think it shows you don't have to be a major player to get mentioned in stuff like this. Heck, I'm a nobody in this industry =)

Well, I don't know about a book, but I was interviewed this past Friday by this chick that is doing her thesis on the causes behind the advanced rate of technology innovation by the adult entertainment industry.

Maybe a webmaster that posts here would write one...

I doubt if anyone else would. You think anyone in the real world gives 2 shits about, or has even heard of the names mentioned above?

Highly doubtfull...

Sex sells... no one wants to read about a bunch of guys that sit at home on a computer a peddle porn. We're not celebrities, people don't want to read about webmasters anymore than they want to read about the big players in the dishwasher repair business.
