Michael Jackson's young accuser testified Monday that he told the dean of a middle school he attended that Jackson "didn't do anything to me."

SANTA MARIA ? Michael Jackson's young accuser testified Monday that he told the dean of a middle school he attended that Jackson "didn't do anything to me."

The teenager, under tough cross-examination by Jackson's lawyer, acknowledged that he was confronted with the statement in a meeting during the weekend with District Attorney Tom Sneddon and his entire case staff.

The boy said that Sneddon, a sheriff's investigator and other prosecutors, came to see him Sunday night and asked him about conversations he had with the dean, identified as Jeffrey Alpert, and his conflict with another teacher at John Burroughs Middle School in Los Angeles.

Referring to the conversation with Sneddon, attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. said, "He asked you if you confessed to Dean Alpert about Michael."

"I told Dean Alpert he didn't do anything to me," the boy said. "I told him twice."

Mesereau kept returning to the conversation and at one point the boy said "I don't remember too good" when he was asked about the meeting with Alpert.

"You don't remember too good (saying) Mr. Jackson had never touched you sexually?" Mesereau asked accusingly.

"Well, I'm pretty sure it happened because he was dean of the school," the boy said of the meeting.

"Mr. Alpert looked you in the eye and asked you if Michael Jackson did anything to you, didn't he?" he said.

"I told him that Michael didn't do anything to me," the boy said.

"And the second time you said, 'No, he did not touch me in any sexually inappropriate way,'" Mesereau said.

"I don't know," said the boy, who last week gave jurors graphic accounts of being molested by Jackson.

Thomas Flicker Forsyth, a Los Angeles attorney, said in an interview Monday that he was representing a potential witness in the Jackson case who "was part of the school administration at the time he had contact with the victim" but he would not confirm the client's name.

Forsyth said his client met with prosecution and defense attorneys Saturday at his law offices and gave a statement. He said he believed his client would be called as a witness.

Forsyth said he could not disclose when defense attorneys became aware of his client's story, and added that his client was "very concerned about the media hype and his privacy being affected."

Jackson was indicted in early 2004 after an investigation that followed a Feb. 6, 2003, TV documentary which showed Jackson with the boy, a cancer patient, at the pop star's Neverland ranch. The program triggered controversy because Jackson told the interviewer that he shared his bed with children, although he said it was non-sexual and innocent.

Prosecutors allege that after the documentary aired Jackson conspired to hold the boy's family captive to get them to make a rebuttal video and that he gave the boy alcohol and molested him between Feb. 20-March 12, 2003, before the family left Neverland for the last time.

It was not clear why the school dean asked the boy about Jackson. However, when the "Living With Michael Jackson" documentary aired the boy was identified, although his face is obscured when scenes are replayed.

Mesereau confronted the accuser with school records that showed that no fewer than nine teachers had complained about the boy's disruptive behavior, events that the boy acknowledged.

Of one teacher, he said, "I felt as if he didn't deserve respect as a teacher. I didn't respect him as a person."

He complained on the witness stand about the teaching methods of virtually every teacher mentioned and said that his outbursts were approved by other students.

"When I would stand up to teachers the other students would congratulate me," he said. "... I was argumentative at times. I didn't like the way they taught me. I wasn't learning anything."

Mesereau returned again to the conversation with Alpert and asked when it occurred.

"I believe it was after I came back from Neverland," the boy said.

"He said, 'Look at me, look at me ... I can't help you unless you tell me the truth ? did any of this happen?'" Mesereau said, quoting from the school official's talk with the boy.

The boy acknowledged that was what he was asked.

"And your response was nothing happened," Mesereau said.

"Yes," the boy said.

In other questioning, the boy acknowledged he felt Jackson abandoned him after his cancer went into remission. He said an SUV that was given to the family was taken back by Jackson's staff for repairs and was never returned. Similarly, he also said a computer was taken back for repairs and never returned.

"You told the Sheriff's Department, didn't you, that after your cancer you felt Michael had abandoned you," said Mesereau.

"Yes," the boy said.

The boy also denied he ever spoke to Jay Leno but said he once did place a call to the comedian from a hospital and left a message on an answering machine. The defense, which claims the family sought to get money from celebrities, has said Leno alerted police after a call from the boy because he thought the family was looking for a "mark." But exact circumstances of the call have yet to be made clear in testimony.

Mesereau also cross-examined the accuser about similarities between a statement he testified Jackson made about masturbation and an earlier statement the boy attributed to his grandmother.

Mesereau recalled that the boy testified Thursday that Jackson told him that if men don't masturbate they might rape women. The attorney noted that the boy told sheriff's investigators in an interview that his grandmother had told him the same thing.

"Why did your story change between that interview and your testimony last Thursday?" Mesereau asked.

"It didn't change because Michael tried to explain it to me first," the witness answered.

The boy said that both his grandmother and Jackson had told him the same thing, but the context was different.

"She was telling me it was OK to do it and Michael was saying you have to do it," the boy said.

Jackson, who was threatened with arrest when he failed to show up in court on time Thursday, arrived on schedule Monday. Unlike Thursday, when a disheveled Jackson finally arrived in a coat, T-shirt and pajama bottoms, he wore a smart red jacket with a black armband and black slacks. His parents escorted him inside.

he may be a freak, but all those kids are just after his money. A guy with that amount of cash would not fuck any kid in the USA, when he can go to Africa or Asia and buy a 9 year old boy for a few bucks, and nobody will complain or do anything against him.
