Madonna hits back at Boy George
Madonna has hit back at Boy George after the outrageous pop star slammed her for being a member of a homophobic religion.
The former Culture Club singer said the Material Girl star was a hypocrite for pretending to be bisexual for years, and performing a series of headline grabbing lesbian stunts - including her infamous girl-on-girl kiss with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera - while actually being devoted to the Kabbalah which teaches followers that homosexuality is a sin.
He told Britain's Times newspaper: "It's ironic that she's joined an organization that says homosexuality is a disease that can be cured and no one picks her up on it.
"After making all those millions of dollars out of gay people, pretending to kiss girls, pretending to be a lesbian, I think she's cynical."
However, the 46-year-old singer has hit back through her publicist, Liz Rosenberg, who says Madonna has always, and will continually, be committed to her homosexual fans and has not cynically duped them.
