What should I pay my brother?

Okay guys, I run a movie site and I'm currently working on my second movie site. My brother wants to get into the business with me; he has good graphic design skills/html, but doesn't know anything about the adult industry.

He's gonna be making my future sites for me graphic wise, and I'll be doing all of the other aspects for it.

What should I pay him? He says 50%/50% is fair. But I say I should have more of the share because the traffic aspect and actually getting conversions and marketing of the site is most of the work. What's fair for me to pay him for each site that he works on? What percentage of the profits?

any % deal will only cause you TROUBLE. BEEN there, done that. pay him a wage.

if you still want to - go ahead and get him to do it - then when he asks for his share give him a swift kick in the nuts and tell him that's all he's gettin!

I wouldnt do a partner type of thing with him, could lead to trouble down the road.

If he knows how to build a website, and has some graphics experience, let him build his own site. You could help him get started by teaching him the basics, but I wouldnt do anything more.

If he nurses that baby from ground zero, he will take better care of it, watching and learning as it grows. I would think that be the best way.

Boneprone helped me get started. He didnt just give me a site because I was his cousin. He knew I had experience building non-adult sites, and guided me through the transition between adult and non-adult.

This worked out a lot better than us being partners...because down the road, we all find certain ways doing things. If your brother has his own site, it will benefit you both. It will give you guys the freedom to experiment in your own creative ways.

If he is going to do work for you make it job for pay no long term stuff. But If it was my family I would give "them enough info to stay away from the scams" and give them pointers to the right resource and boards and at the same time listen to them as they are more likely in touch with real surfers than we are after doing this for Years, and you can both benefit.

well, im thinking you guys may be right, a partnership mayy not be the best way to go about it. Perhaps having him work for a wage or salary may be the best idea.
so now, let me ask you, how should i figure out the wage to pay him? whats a good formula to use?
