Any site owners have experience with affiliates that use e-mail spam tactics to drive traffic and get sign-ups?

Ask platinumbucks - they love to have affiliates spam for them if it's not in fact them doing it themselves.

what are the ramifications, if any, for the site owner?...considering it is out of their control.

if i read correctly, the ftc (or justice dept) re wrote the law where the program owner is 100% liable for any affilate who sends spam now.

its not good for you, you could be sued by just about any company for millions. It wouldn't be very hard to track you down. I suggest that you stay away from it.

Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
