I know exactly what blog spam does. I know what it's used for and I know that there are several well known people here that use it daily. The difference is they won't speak of it, me I don't have a damn thing to lose from it. I'm not giving details but to say it's worthless because "most people are online 24/7" shows how ignorant he is on the subject.

most scripts have the flooding option on it will detect spamming.

i always hated comments on blogs. always had to check them to delete shit. not worth it.

im not saying its worthless, but every blog has a spam filter (at least wordpress does) and every blog webmaster is online every day, not 24/7, just an hour a day online is enough to delete the spam. So fuck your 'nerd' saying its based on nothing.
Enlighten me now, what makes this different then the casino spam i get with quotes from books that got nothing to do with my blog.
