I searched google, can't find a godmailer/cleanmailer for download

YARGH! there was an opensource one I heard good things about. phpmailer or something. I don't mail so can't comment on it's worthiness.

EDIT it's not phpmailer. I be lookin' for a link to the right one.

Quite different than the spam darkmail system

you can use darkmailer without proxies and be totally legit.

i'd go with arialsoftware for optin mailing. You don't really need bp servers as long as you have proof that the people actually opted in (full records/ip/timestamp). A good way to really cut down on the ammount of complaints is to have thier first name in the subject, then thier full name in the message follwed by with thier address and ip.

I want to convert (now that I am done with the old) to a legit pimpen mailer!

Not so many around these days, and I think I have a good place to start (with inhouse database).
