Got up this morning turned the comp on and about 10 mins later it crashed.. hit the restart button and went to make coffee, came back and the computer is off.. the damn thing died while I was making coffee, lol

So went to PC World for the first time in years and bought a:

Sony VGCM1 Desktop Computer
3.06 GHz P4
512 MB RAM
160 GB HDD
DVD RW (dual layer)
15.4" LCD WXGA Widescreen X-Black Display
Video Input - TV tuner
Graphics Controller ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9200
Intergrated subwoofer

and few other goodies

replacing the old desktop for now and yeah I'd of liked a bigger monitor but this comp wont let you use anything else.. so I'll just end up networking this and my old desktop once I replace some parts.

Running fine so far, Sony just means quality to me, never had a real problem with one of their products. Got near everything setup on this in a couple of hours, it took over 10 hours to get my last pc setup, so I'm damn happy with this so far.
