I don't think anything can be sorted out. All the bad guys all ready have the guns, banning them would only leave the innocent unarmed.

yeah but banning them makes it harder for bad guys to get. i doubt the people in church were packing heat.

I agree that it will definitely make them harder to get, but I don't think it's fair to leave law abiding citizens unarmed against the many, many monsters that will still get them. People with criminal records can't legally obtain guns now, but they still mange to. It's a poor system, but I just think a decent solution is far gone.

I dare someone to break into my house, I wont kill them... not into that.. unless I have to of course.

But I will shoot each kneecap, then the elbow's if i still have to. After that I will put a few in the chest, I can miss once. My P220 holds 8 rounds.

I know that in Canada it's really difficult to get guns. I could buy one illegaly in less than an hour though.

That happens to be your unique case (maybe 'cause of the type of people you know) But in most cases prohibiting does save lives (ie: guns not being readily available to husband who walks in on wife cheating etc.)

Although, I agree it is too late for the US to change now.

Hey, if those dead people would've bought porn, it would've been good for us... they would've rebilled, and rebilled and rebilled... until their families finally cancelled the credit cards.
So it's not that terrible when a porn surfer gets killed.
The issue is when they kill someone before they ever bought their first membership. That is a true shame!

I encourage gun use. I am starting a movement to make guns more readily available. They are a fantastic population control device.
