see. i have to say that annoys me. For me BBW is an attitude and who the heck is anyone to say who someone should find beautiful or not. Surely that is the whole drift of the bbw/fa community that they stand up and say 'i find this body type sexy..even though I am not suppose to'. I have seen pleanty of thin models on amateur sites that weren't supermodel material..and you know what? They sell better than the 'models' for me. I mean seriously..ugly to who?

I disagree everyone who is big is not beautiful just like everyone thin isnt beautiful. In my humble opinion. I can see about atitude but I get monsters that send me pics wanting to be models who say Im a big beautiful woman.

The term BBW wasnt started by a fashion magazine , it was started by the original owner of dimensions magazine with her bbw pantyhose product. She actually owns the trademark for that term but never exercised it.

Yes, this is my job but it is also my community and I hate the undermining of women that just might becoming to the community. I mean..damn when I was 19 I needed to pluck my eyebrows,get a better haircut and dress better..confidence that was partially showed to me by other members of the community is what allowed me to do that..not being called ugly by another member of that community.

I thought she worked for the magazine at the time..i remember them heavily advertising in BBW anyway..but I read dimensions then too (though I shouldn't have at that age) and dimensions was always very size acceptance slanted (and feeder but hey). Infact, it was one of the models in dimensions that looked a bit like me and had a body very similar to me that got me off my ass and showed me men could like me. Was odd to meet her for real a few year ago.

i think the main thing to remember is to keep everything positive. no real fa will join a site where you call a bbw a fat pig. you want the real fans...not the people looking for something to laugh at, cuz the real fans will stay and your retention will be incredible.

Well everyone has ugly moments Fuck I do every time i dont have makeup on (maby not in others eyes, but in mine) and I think if someone is going to try and market themselfs on the net they should try and look there best. There are alot of models out here who could be "improved" if they just plucked there eyebrows and put on some makeup.

There is a difference between natural beauty and just not caring.

I was funky as a teenager, i didnt find my groove till I was about 19, which is when i was able to start buying what i wanted. and I did my best to make myself look better.

Firstly, plumper means someone who is just a bit overweight..maybe a bit more than 'chubby' - not a very big woman. So, if you have someone that surfs in looking for a site that has 'plumpers' they aren't going to be expecting to pull our their credit card for the bigger end of the niche. The same goes for guys that come looking for BBW and supersized sites - they want to see that body type.

Secondly, that woman in the 'big butt' part has nothing to do with the size woman the rest of the site is targetted at. Actually, she is more suited to the title of the site but once they have decided to go with the 'normal' sized BBW they need to stick to that on the tour because they are totally different audiences.

Thirdly, there is no escaping the pig mask..that is just a total insult to the surfers. It is like starting a gay site and covering it with homophobic language.
