2005 has been a huge year for domain sales. In one of the largest individual domain sales of the last few years, local.com was purchased this week for $700,000. (CreditCards.com sold for $2.75 Million in '04).

Good domain actually. Need to get into the local search market qucik though if they plan to compete with the big boys ;)
