Blue screen of death in non paged area....

i am getting pretty upset with the comp recently. i run win 2k server, all latest patches installed, and after removing apache 2 i have this issue:
without apparent reason, i get the blue screen of death, with the following error:
STOP: 0x00000050 (0xF9AC4000, 0x00000000, 0xFA5FA2E1, 0x00000000) page fault in non paged area.
actually they suggest disabling caching and shadowing from the video mem, but i highly doubt that that could help. i have tried to remove one of the 2 RAM modules i have installed (2x256 Mb) instead since i read an article that this could be referred simply to a RAM failure, basically this would be good, so i can just go and buy a new one...
that happens totally random, like you are browsing and you click on ANY link, i noticed that happening when surfing on the boards tho, and you click one of the forums...dunno if that can tell us anything...
any ideas / comments / suggestions?
