maybe try reading the thread again. several people have mentioned that for a stand alone pay site, you'll need several gigs per month of content for updates. this doesn't include your 'base' content which should *much* larger volume than your updates. and unless you are shooting exclusive content only, your milage will vary. 500 mb is not even close to being enough to start a pay site, let alone retain members. avs is a different story. completely different things. Ok..so how much content should I aquire for launch prior to the first update?
I understand I couldn't maintain a paysite with 500 megs..what's a good / or the standard (if there are any standards) amount of content to launch with.. |

I agree 500M isn;t enough to start but I don't think u need 50G to start either.... but you should start off with 2-3G min and I do mean min if you want to retain member.
