proxy either when you are behind a firewall or when doing prody submisison I hink

I am really not very knowledgeable about all that stuff.

I use a cable connection to the internet where I check my personal mail.

I have a host where I have a number of email address set up.
Where would I find out what info to put in for these request:

Proxy server address:
smtp address:


Is it one or the other?


I spent all night trying to get the FTP address correct.

WHen you are using Outlook or Thunderbird .. take the information that you have entered there to send / receive mails .. the same infos you will have to add in your CS.

When you are behind a firewall, you need to enter the router adress there .. ( Proxy ) Therwise leave it blank , anyway if you want to hide your ip enter some porxy servers adress ...
