Um.

That's a turbo + awd eclipse, with no wing or neons, and a 3" exhaust from the turbo to the back of the car... It runs low 13s and would give a factory corvette a run for its money. Of course it doesn't stand a chance against a Ligenfelter, which is one of the fastest cars on the road, but that is the point of the video, it starts off saying "this is a badass corvette"...

I'm far from a ricer but I know a tuned EVO or STi can give a vette or a Ferrari a run for its money.

1) That *IS* a Lingenfelter Corvette. It will handle and EVO or an STi with NO problem at all.

2) I've owned 2 LS1s, A Camaro SS and a Corvette C5. So yes, I've seen them.

I've owned a C5 and that was deffinetly a Lingenfelter. The reason you don't see many is because the packages are very, very expensive. $7000 for the lowest one which only makes 430HP. The top end Twin Turbo 427 costs $50,000 on top of the price of the car.

Yeah, it's a lot easier to launch an AWD on street tires than it is a big HP RWD. On a track, with some big slicks, it'd be all over from the launch.

I remember talking to guys like you at street drags that thought my mildly tuned Supra must be faster than any car in the universe. Listen. You're wrong. 50-60 grand later you're still pushing a now unreliable Lancer when you could have bought something faster, nicer, etc. For the most part, the import tuning industry is a con.

You talk about tuned Evos and STis OWNING THE STREETS well where are they? They've never lined up with me or Warchild, and we gave them plenty of chances. Where are the throngs of these 4 cylinder supercars?

Oh, and before you start going on about Evo, it's just a boosted Talon (same engine, 4G63) and before you ask, yeah, Warchild's owned one of those too, enjoy the bleachers

I don't have my car for streetraces, but because I've been a big fan of it for quite a few years now, and I love being able to drive fast every now and then..

I think most people are scared to race me, but, when people stand next to me and want to race, most of the times I don't even respond and just drive along slowly..

I don't really like streetracing to be honest..

You can spend 30k on a fucking civic and pull faster than a corvette but its still a fuckin civic. And civic's are pathetic, no matter how fast.

I can't help but laugh when I see a little excel rice burner with all the body kit, spoiler and milo tin accessories. I saw an excel the other day with two milo tins, like it had a v8 or something, hilarious. And 2 big air intakes on the bonnet. Some people really crack me up.

Not all tuned imports are ricers people. Yeah a tuned civic or supra etc are still the same cars bodies but thats the whole point. You can buy a cheap car and make it run like a champ maybe do an engine swap and its fu nto do it. In the end your car including mods might cost as much as a vette does. Anyway its fun to have a sleeper.
