A certain set might look dark to 1 guy(which you could consider bad lighting) which another guy might prefer.
Every photographer has his own style.

For sake of discussion, my personal taste is irrelevent. "Good quality" is what I bring to my customers. As profesionals in the business, that is our obligation.


To answer your question, "quality" is a formula. Taste is subjective.

The difference has nothing to do with time or money. It about experience.

Not he big program drove down the prices to a level where any one could afford content, few professionals were interested in supplying and the Adult Internet was "Dumbed Down"

If the big programs had kept prices of content high, the money needed to start a site would of been way beyond 80% of those in the business today. Raising the standards, giving the surfer a better experience and keeping out the competition.

But they chose a different route and opened the doors. Now the business has turned again and look at what is needed as an investment to open a porn website.

Just to get something straight, I have no fear of competition. In fact I love it. The more people who compete the higher we raise the bar. The higher the bar the less who can compete.

Nice poses and great lighting Cirrus. I am impressed with what top level photographers can do with lighting to create even more dramatic photos.

On a few occasions I have hired other photographers to shoot glamour and fetish sets for me while I shot video. It was really interesting to watch and try and learn, although they were too busy to explain what they were doing, and I was pretty occupied with my tasks.

Finally thanks for the compliment bmb, however Paul Markham and your Wanton content is consistently much better work than I am capable of. I just do the best I can and try to get better.

As a TGP guy who hand crafts thumbs in photoshop I can tell you that there's an awful lot of (decent sized) single girl sites whose idea of "post processing" seems to be to upload their automatically exposed JPEGs straight to the site. :Graucho Does it really take that long to do a basic manual levels clip of each image?

Noit does not, but some producers are being squeezed on price and it's just another way of cutting costs. We try to correct everything to the best we can.

But if you're buying content at $5 a set you get what you pay for. :(

ADG stop being modest this is great work and you know it. Very few can produce this level of glamour and the porn you posted was excellent.

This may strike you as odd, but quite honestly I am very self-conscious and critical about my own work.

In part this is due to the fact that I'm married to a real artist, a woman who is an extremely successful commercial artist as well as very talented fine artist (everyone in here, and most people in the world, have seen her work - BTW, she has nothing to do with the adult industry).

My upbringing, and the fact that I am still fairly new to photography, post-production, and web mastering, also has a lot to do with this as well.

All around me I see truly talented people, and so it is easy for me to recognize and put my own limited skills into perspective.

Thank you for the kudos anyway. Perhaps if I posted my worst work you would feel differently. I can barely stand to look at my own work, and do so primarily to figure out how I can improve.

If I can ever become half the person I desire to be, then I will be happy.
