I don't know if you realised what you typed above , but basically you took someones work and placed it in the site , innocently obviously as the fact that you posted it here shows you didnt know better , But ya can't do that .
Grab some stock photos , join an exchange that works on a credit basis and get royality free images from there or use 3d as I see you do 3d ..
you couldve easily made a 3d film reel rather than riskin problems using other peoples work .
the customer that puts that " jefferson film festival " film reel on thier site is in for a Cease and desist eventually .
The bevels on the top two for " bookmark .. " are making the text hard to read
I like you're use of colour , with the exception of the top one , it just doesnt seem " ebony " to me at all .

First let me say I love the work Dynamix has done for me, I've ordered 4 designs from him, all were done promptly and to my satisfaction. On occasion I have changed a few things here and there on my own, other times I have requested a small change and he's done it within minutes of the request. He's a great designer to work with, and always seems to know what I want. He doesn't claim to be the best, but I'd have to say he's the best in his price range.
machinegunkelly - interesting comments, some of the things you pointed out were things i changed, I stroked the
"Video Shack" to make it stand out and also changed the bookmark to white to make it stand out better.
as far as the reel goes i'm glad to know that, I switched that out real quick. thanks for pointing that out, he didn't know and I didn't know.
now as far as my color choice not seeming "ebony" all i can say to that is if I see one more ebony niche site done in brown, gold, yellow or any other earth tones I'm going to puke! I'm not saying you were suggesting those colors, but in a lot of cases those are the colors chosen for ebony websites. who ever came up with those colors for ebony sites needs to be shot. :winkwink: I always choose warm colors, cheerful colors. I want my surfers to feel excited when they come to my sites. My theory is that an excited surfer is an impulsive buyer, I want those impulsive sales, and so far it's worked great for me. :2 cents:
