I've really never bought traffic for a forum, so I need some advice / links. I'd like it turning on today, if possible, budget is flexible.

Maybe I'm not getting it, but wouldn't traffic that you buy for a TGP work just as well for a forum? I don't think anyone sells "forum-specific" traffic.

I would think that perhaps the join rate might be a bit better off of a forum. Thing to guard against, though, is password trading. If you have a forum, disable private messaging and ban anyone giving out a password. Share the free shit amongst your board and leave it at that. I would think that someone would have already done a quick study on this to see if a forum helps sales.

OK, makes sense Tala. Forums are stickier than TGPs.
On a self-serving note, I have no problem selling our "TGP Feeder" traffic to a forum site.
