I'm in the process of putting out more sites and switching to the per-signup model for our program... it would relly help to know what kind of sponsors do you guys/girls promote...
My questions are:

(1) What do you promote... (I heard it's a norm now to promote around 10 sponsors at a time - true?/not true?)

(2) Do you like recurring/per-sign-up better?

(3) what's the minimum %/per signup rate you would settle for?

1)Personaly i dont use more than 3 sponsers at a time i recycle them unless there truely rocking and i use that one till it croaks ;-)
2)recurring most of the time, but i use a few per signup
3)50%

anything that converts good that has a min of 20 sets of decent pics to use to promote thats per signup

We'll have some hardcore sites definitely..

...whaich reminds me:

(4)How important is free content to promote the program with/and do you prefer lots of banners available or like using text links more?

I like sponsors that provide free content for use to promote sites, as well as include free bannerless hosting, as well as a webmaster's referal bonus..
As far as signup & recurring go..Both work..It depends on the conversion & cancelation/chargeback ratio..
