Remote Desktop Question

May be a stupid one, I haven't really dealt with remoteaccess or remoteadmin or anything else. But I am wondering, with remote desktop or some other similar appliance radmin or something, is it possible for me to create a new user/profile account on my xp and only give the person access to that account without them being able to turn off the computer or change accounts?

I don't think you can prevent them from turning off your computer. You can set their access permissons though and limit what files they can access, if they can download or not etc.

This is what i really want to do, not sure if it is possible. I want a friend of mine ovrseas to set me up an account/profile on his computer and I want to be able to access that profile only (rather than buy a second PC and a router to use his connection) and not be able to access his profile/account (I guess maybe he could just protect his account by password?). I than want to be able to change the password on my profile/account that I login to remotely so that he can't access it.

Ok, thanks for confirming it can be done. I take it can be done with the standard remote desktop setup? Or do I need another program like radmin to do it? Looking into myself now though, but any help is appreciated.
