Ibill, Robbing The Industry?

I see people post all the time about getting scammed or cheated..
countless accusations...

Sometimes it's "your word against theirs situation" where both parties claim to be in the right...

Other times it's a hit and run type situation, where some gets taken and never sees or hears from the accused party again...

But I see how Ibill is operating...

They continue to process for websites, but aren't cutting ANY checks?
Yet people are sticking with them, thru all the broken promises to make proper payments...

Why are webmasters still processing with Ibill?
I really don't understand, can somebody fill me in?

I am aware that some people are processing with Ibill hoping against hope to recover tens of thousands (or much more).

That doesn't change my analysis of the issue. I posted the other day about one poor guy that called me - whom Ibill stole $50K from AFTER they switched to gcard and talked him into staying on.

They are criminals and liars pure and simple, MUCH worse than Globill. Money curently being taken in is being used to pay insiders, not webmasters.

yes that is the only wise course of action, cancel 100% of rebiils, email customer, offer discount to signup with ccbill. works like a charm.

Yep thats the way I see it and its exactly what i have done. I am refunding and cancelling everyone. Mysite really converts andI have been using ibill since I opened in 2001 so its a pretty big list but hey, They wont release the database to me so they arent going to be rebilling it any longer.

Make sure you keep track of who you refund. I have my doubts they will actually issue refunds if you request more than a certain amount.

Yeah and the most important thing I learned from Globill is make sure you grab all the information you can NOW - customer list, email, rebill date, etc. When Ibill closes doors soon you can expect them to block access to all that info like Globill suddenly did.

Cancel ALL your IBill rebills!!! All you are doing is giving Ibill free money, and giving access to your site to people who you are not collecting money from.

I am also getting a shit load of ibill members who said that they cancelled their accounts but ibill continues to rebill them. These guys are the lowest form of life on the planet, and anyone still using them is just helping them continue to rip the rest of us off.

You might as well give them all refunds too, it ain't your money they are giving back, cuz you'll never see it anyway.

PL - Think on this.

iBill were given advance notice from First Data of their intention to cease the banking relationship. iBill did nothing.

It was not without good cause First Data made this decision - they, like several other banks iBill have contacted, are aware of certain circumstances where risk and more was involved.

Next.... this problem was at that time, more or less, accepted by webmasters.

But.... and this has nothing to do with First Data or anyone else - iBill have continued to transact funds and dispense these as they saw fit - not necessarily to the rightful owners of these funds. Webmasters have, as you say, not been paid for transactions completed after the time of the termination of First Data.

Instead, iBill have entered into legal agreements to avoid further court action and failed to comply with these agreements. Some webmasters have not been paid by iBill since mid 2004 and others were threatened with no payment if they decided to terminate and stop sending traffic.

iBill then promised.... many things.. ranging from shares in the company (*lol*) to promissory notes - all of which never happened.

The lastest mindless adventure is the concept of third party payment issue and using an ex-consultant closely tied with iBill to perform this alledged procedure. This "independent escrow agent" has presented no credentials and now claims to be offering this service on a non-profit basis from an unknown address or location - and, on a "take it or leave it" basis.

In summary - ya got a load of scammers concocting a "play of the day" - depending which way the wind blows at Deerfield Beech. But, still - avoiding any payment to webmasters.

This crap will come to a head shortly and those responsible for the direction of this company will have plenty time to answer questions. That does not just mean officers of the company, but any "shareholders" and "independent consultants" and staff on the premises.

As for the corp entity itself - this needs terminating at the earliest possible time and passed to a liquidator to disperse any funds.

lol, i have been giving ibill free money since this whole thing started. If they want to rip off webmasters then thats what they do, eventually it will catch up with them BUT
they will not be playing their games with my money any longer Jesus, enough is enough. Everyone I have refunded I send an email to telling them I have refunded them and to watch for the refund, if they dont get it then contact ibill.
I figure Ibill will be sending out LOTSA emails stating what, "how they intend to refund?"
Or "they will update them on their refund"? Screw them.

I also have a lawyer that I am working with on this.
