There are no new scenes. The only difference is about 5 minutes of the most exteme violence has been cut and the film rereleased. Are there really enough new people that will go see it now that wouldn't before because a tiny bit of violence was cut or is this a marketing gimmick to get fans of the film back into the theaters?...

they probably did it so that they can market it to churches and make more children watch it now.
My boyfriends little sister goes to a private catholic school and her teacher gave the students extra credit for seeing that movie *shudders* why would you encorage little kids to see something so violent?
