don't move to California, it hasn't stopped raining for more than a couple days in the last two months and we will be sliding off the edge of the continent very soon.

You can look at city-data.com and it has stats for weather, and all sorts of things, for cities all over the country.

Southern Calif along the coast, such as San Diego, and central/southern Florida ... and of course Hawaii.

I've never been to Hawaii, but between California and Florida, I personally feel Florida is the better choice - and it's somewhat less expensive.

Ask KimmyKim ! She is now living in Southern California at the beach.

Although we have had lots of rain this year (we really needed it to bring snow to the mountains and water to the dry lake beds and fire areas), the weather is usually close to perfect at the beach with 70 being the average temperature. You don't need heat and you don't need A/C the entire year.

As long as we have no tsunami's and no earthquakes, this is the place to be.

Depends on your definition of nice weather. I love the heat and hate the cold, so I think South Florida is incredible weather all year long. However, it takes a lot of Northeners a while to acclimate to the hot/humid summers.

Bottom line, there is no place I would rather live

Sunny Florida is the place to be even with the occasional hurricains, being able to ride my cycle in Feb on a sunny 75 degree day is the greatest.

My definition of great weather is crisp cold, grey skies and lots of snow. Temperatures above 70...too much for me...

Unfortunately, my beloved Seattle has been bright and sunny, relatively no rain...no snow....no grey skies...

Course, it rarely gets cold enough to freeze the ground; hence we are green all year long.

San Diego ... although in Tucson, we had a VERY calm and warmer winter than normal. Today it's 70 and sunny, I'm in heaven!

FL is too humid. Lived there for 9 years. Great winters but the summer sucks and it lasts from March to October. You need two homes. Thanksgiving to Easter in FL (Gulf Coast is nicer - Long Boat Key, Naples) and a home in say La Jolla for Easter to Thanksgiving. If there was one perfect place we'd all live there.
