The democratization of Iraq and the mid east in general...is an extention of the declared global war on terrorism...so in that sense that is what Iraq has to do with 911. The US is attempting to change the face of the mid east. But this has been explained multiple times...not only by me but others also.

The US did not leave in "defeat". The US never lost a single military battle in Vietnam. The US left because the American people demanded the Commander in Chief bring our forces home.
